Trickett England

Made in BritainLeicester, LeicestershireBolton, Greater ManchesterUnited Kingdom

Iain Trickett started Trickett England in 2012 and runs it from Accrington, Lancashire. Textiles run in the family: his great-grandfather, grandfather and grandmother sold dress and quilting fabrics around Accrington, and further afield by mail order and from pop-up stalls. His father, Barrie, still works alongside him. Iain looks after design, sourcing, production, logistics, photography and sales himself. He avoids mass production and paid advertising, and sells direct. He works with manufacturers who take care over their work, visits their factories and tells the makers' stories in TRiCKETT Tales. Trickett's product pages do the same, often naming the maker and the town behind a piece.

The clothing

Shown here are the Stanley Cut Jeans, in indigo selvedge sewn in Leicester, and the Durber Shirt and Pallett Smock, both put together in Bolton. The CRiCKETT Jumper is made in the UK from British wool.

Made in Britain — how we know

Trickett's product pages give each piece's origin as the United Kingdom and say where it's made: the jeans by a maker, his family and team in Leicester, the shirt and smock by a team in Bolton, and the jumper by a UK maker using British wool. Checked October 2026.
