Trickett England
Iain Trickett started Trickett England in 2012 and runs it from Accrington, Lancashire. Textiles run in the family: his great-grandfather, grandfather and grandmother sold dress and quilting fabrics around Accrington, and further afield by mail order and from pop-up stalls. His father, Barrie, still works alongside him. Iain looks after design, sourcing, production, logistics, photography and sales himself. He avoids mass production and paid advertising, and sells direct. He works with manufacturers who take care over their work, visits their factories and tells the makers' stories in TRiCKETT Tales. Trickett's product pages do the same, often naming the maker and the town behind a piece.
