Barnes & Moore

Made in BritainEngland

Barnes & Moore Leatherworks was founded by Steve Moss, who in a 2020 interview described a small team of four people doing the making. The approach is hands-on: each piece is made by hand with traditional skills and tools. The brand is open about where its materials come from. Oak bark leather is tanned by J & FJ Baker in Devon, other leathers come from Tuscany and Japan, the waxed cotton is English and the zips are by Riri and Talon. Its buckles come from a small outside foundry.

The leather goods

Here you'll find Barnes & Moore's small leather accessories: key fobs, a long key tether and a luggage tag in harness and bridle leather. The maker describes each one as handmade in England.

Had you heard of Barnes & Moore before today?

Only the accessories shown here are confirmed as made in Britain. We couldn't confirm where Barnes & Moore's belts, wallets and bags are made.

Where they're made

England

Made in Britain: the accessories shown are handmade at Barnes & Moore's workshop in England. The maker doesn't name the town, and doesn't say where its belts, wallets and bags are made.

Made in Britain — how we know

We read Barnes & Moore's own product pages in October 2026. Each accessory shown says it is handmade at the brand's workshop in England, or made in England. Its belt, wallet, card holder and bag pages give no place of making, so we haven't listed them.
