Molton Brown
Molton Brown says it has been making in England since 1971. In the 1980s its founders moved production into their home, Mott's Hall in Elsenham, and the brand says it has stayed in England ever since. Today it runs its own manufacturing facility in Elsenham, a couple of miles from Mott's Hall, and most of its product research and development happens there too. Molton Brown is now part of Kao Corporation, the Japanese cosmetics group, which counts it among the leading brands in its portfolio.
The grooming
Shown here: Molton Brown's Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel Bath & Shower Gel, Re-charge Black Pepper Eau de Parfum and Purifying Shampoo with Indian Cress, each stated as made in England on its own product page. The eau de parfum has a 20% fragrance oil concentration, and the shampoo is vegan and Leaping Bunny approved.

Where they're made
England
Made in England. Molton Brown runs its own manufacturing facility in Elsenham, but the product pages don't name a town, so we show England only.
Made in Britain — how we know
In October 2026 we read each product's page on moltonbrown.co.uk; every one shown here states it is made in England. Molton Brown's about, history and sustainability pages describe its Elsenham facility. One other product page we checked gave no place of manufacture, so we confirm products one by one.
