Gruum

Made in BritainUnited Kingdom

Gruum, written grüum on its own site, is a British company based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, though it doesn't say its products are made there. It is open about the fact that not everything it sells is made in the UK. For the products that are, it says they're made by hand, and it gives two reasons that matters: lower transport emissions and support for local businesses. Each product page states for itself whether that item is made in the UK, which is how we confirm them one at a time.

The grooming

Shown here are Gruum's kåre daily face moisturiser, björn leave-in beard balm, barberkrem shave cream and hår shampoo bar, each tagged as made in the UK on its own product page.

Only the products shown here are confirmed Made in Britain. Gruum's razors and some other items aren't tagged as made in the UK.

Where they're made

United Kingdom

Made in the UK; Gruum's product pages don't name a town or workshop. The company is based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, but doesn't say its products are made there.

Made in Britain — how we know

Each product shown carries a 'Made in the UK' tag in the 'Good to know' list on its own Gruum page, which we checked in October 2026. The tag is set product by product: Gruum's razor and pillowcase pages don't carry it.
