Fort is a London label, presented as "Fort." by Fort Lucia, the company behind it. Every garment is designed and made in the city in small batches, and the label keeps its manufacturing local. The idea behind the clothes is to take classic garments apart and rebuild them differently, using craft alongside newer processes. Dyeing happens in-house too: most of the outerwear is hand-dyed by Fort itself, and some finishes set a technical look against a textured surface. Fort's site names no founders and gives no founding date, so the story here is the work itself.
