The Rugby Company

A machinist sewing at an industrial sewing machine in a workroom, with patterns hung on a line behind her

The Rugby Company was founded by Jeremy Moore, and it ties its story closely to the town of Rugby. It specialises in vintage-style rugby shirts, and among them is a run of player reproductions: cotton jerseys modelled on shirts from the game's past, including one based on the 1888 British Lions jersey. Several of its player-jersey pages say the shirts are made at the company's own manufacturing facility in the Midlands, with the yarn spun in the same building.

Clothing

Shown here are The Beamish, The Owen and The Stoddart, cotton player-reproduction jerseys; The Stoddart recreates the 1888 British Lions shirt. Each product page says the shirt is made entirely in Britain at the company's own Midlands facility.

Only the player jerseys shown here have been checked as made in Britain. Other Rugby Company shirts may be made elsewhere.
