Peregrine

Peregrine's story goes back to 1796, when Thomas Glover set up as a hand frame knitter in Wigston Magna, just outside Leicester. By the late 1860s Samuel Glover employed more than 26 people at a factory on Moat Street. John George Glover set up J. G. Glover & Co Ltd in 1901, and Donald Glover created the Peregrine Clothing name in 1956. Tom Glover joined in 2003 and now leads the business, which the family has run for eight generations. Its base today is Montpelier in Bristol, and its own Manchester knitwear factory dates from 2012.
