Orraman Leather

Orraman began during the Covid pandemic, when its founder, a Gaelic teacher and folk musician, took up leatherwork. He runs the business with his wife and makes by hand alongside a small team. There's a fully equipped workshop in Ardrishaig, with further workshops in Campbeltown, also in Argyll, and Callander in Stirling, each with its own named makers. Orraman is clear that it doesn't mass produce. Its full-grain, vegetable-tanned leathers include Badalassi Carlo from Italy and Horween from the US, bought through A&A Crack & Sons of Northampton.
Leather goods
Shown here are the Chief and Outback belts, each cut to length, and the Nevis and Kelpie wallets, which come hand- or machine-stitched. The Nevis is lined with a tartan woven for Orraman by Macgregor & Macduff.
Only the pieces shown here are confirmed as Made in Britain. We haven't confirmed where Orraman's other items are made.
