Lavenham

Lavenham's story starts in 1969, when Mrs Elliot founded the company with a quilted horse rug. Its original factory was in the village of Lavenham, in Suffolk. Today it works from its Suffolk factory, six miles from that first site, where more than 100 local people are employed. Lavenham says quilting, cutting, sewing and inspection all happen there, and that its fabric is quilted in house on the factory's own machines. Most of that fabric comes from British mills, including mills in Manchester and Scotland.
Clothing
Shown here are Lavenham's own quilted jackets, coats and gilet for men and women, from a short cord-collared jacket to a long coat and a hooded A-line style. Each one is listed as made in Suffolk on its own product page.
We've checked only the styles shown here. Some collaboration pieces sold on Lavenham's shop are made in France and Japan.
